Just in time for the holidays, how about a jet with that condo? Or perhaps some extra room to move around, like the entire floor of a building?
“Put it on the Christmas list,” said Group P6’s Ignacio Diaz.
Two real estate developers are pulling out all the stops to lure high-end buyers to their Palm Beach County condominiums now under construction.
In Palm Beach, DDG is offering buyers a range of services, including concierge jet services, for buyers of its 3550 South Ocean.
About a quarter of the units at 3550 South Ocean are sold, and the building hasn’t even gone vertical yet. That work will start in January, although groundwork has been taking place for months, said Joseph A. McMillan, Jr., DDG’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
The seven-story, 30-unit luxury condominium features units are priced from $1.875 million to $6 million. For that money, buyers get floor-to-ceiling windows; private beach access; a saltwater, oceanfront swimming pool; plus other perks, such as a sun terrace, a gym and a fitness studio facing east toward the water.
The condominium will offer such concierge services as restaurant reservations and scheduling for personal trainers or dog walkers.
But there’s something extra special now available, too: private jet services on demand.
“As people mature, they become accustomed to certain services,” he said. “What we do is we try to make living in one of our properties as easy as possible so you can enjoy doing the things you want to do.”
Put another way, McMillan said, “Lifestyle living is, ‘What is important to you and how can we help you?’”
DDG is partnering with Star Jets International to provide the service, which came about after DDG asked residents of its other properties what extra services they would like. The service was tested in a pilot program a year ago and now is being offered in DDG’s properties in New York, San Francisco and now, Palm Beach.
It’s a private jet, not a shared jet service, so the cost depends on the destination. Costs also depend on the size of the jet and how many passengers are flying, McMillan said. However, whatever the flight, the 3550 South Ocean condominium concierge will be able to set it up for condo owners.
